We take this statement very seriously and continually strive to provide an outstanding educational environment for the students of Paradise and the ridge. Superintendent Steve Jennings has taken a superintendent position with the Tahoe-Truckee School District, and I am filling in as the Interim Superintendent for PUSD until a thorough search for a new superintendent has been completed. At this time, Paradise Unified School District Board of Trustees has contracted with the Cosca Group to conduct a nation-wide search for a new superintendent. As part of the search process consultants will be holding a Community Open Forum during the third week in April. Please watch for updates as to actual times and place the forum will be held. The selection of the new superintendent is an important process and the Board of Trustees welcomes the participation of parents and community members in the Open Forum.
